Walt Disney was very successful because he turned evrything negative into a positive. Walt Disney never gave up, he just kept on trying which made him a successful American.
As a child Walt Disney was very talented. He often did creations with his own pen to escape loneliness. Walt was always on the look for opportunity. He wanted to draw cartoons. When he was 18 he tried to get a job, as a cartoonist, but was turned down because he was unheard of. He had to settle for a job as a grafics designer for advertisement, which helped him later on in life because he learns how to animate characters.
At age 21, Walt opened a studio with a partner and made his first movie, "Alice's Adventures," based on Alice in Wonderland. He sold 6 copies for 1,500 dollars each. Encouraged by Felix the Cat, he wanted his own feature character. He later came up with the name, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald started to become famous and Walts company manager took all the credit fo Oswald. He then told Walt that he no longer needed his services. It was then and there Walt realized that this would be the last time he was going to work for anyone. He later took all his experience and opened his own Walt Disney Studios. With Mickey Mouse as his feature character. His studio became very successful.
Anyone can be successful if you follow your dream. Look what Walt Disney did and he's famous for many animated films. Never give up, keep trying. If you don't yo may never know wher it may have led you.
