Discrimination is a word that has existed since humanity was created. For many many years this word was literaly unknown but never the less was used in every pesent's daily lives. If we were to take a journal back in worldwide history we will find that the background of this particular word has existed or at least the verb of the word, influencing generation after generation. We could probably start with the slavery era, but when can we possibly end? unfortunatly since the use of this word started it still haven't finish, and most likely it never will.
I'm a spanish speaking girl that immigrated to this country a few years ago. Honestly I did not know about the existence of this word, it wasn't on my vocabulary until I landed in "America". I mean I could probably had an idea of what it ment, but until then I didn't knew how it feels like to be discriminated. As I've study this country's history I have realized many things. I think it's a shame that american people could even think about others on an unpropiate way. Every person in this country didn't came from heaven, every one has a history, every one comes from some where. Lucky those that had a chance to succed in those days and give their family what they needed, but not every one was as lucky as your family were, so thank god your family made it. And dont blame those that didn't have the opurtunity to express their skills for the lock of education or the possible situations they were exposed to.
