Sandra Cisneros shows us one of the drawbacks of being eleven. In her memoir 'ELEVEN',She writes about an incident on her eleventh birthday at school. Most of us were able to relate to her experince.
This world seems to be filled with alot of people that think that they are perfect but they are not, because everyone has atleast one embarrassing moment including me.
Living in florida with my aunt, sister and my cousin as a family.Maunt was a living in nurse so we was home alone most of the time,my cousin didn't really care what we do or go,so my sister took advantage of the times we were alone even i took advantage of it.
We went to parties at nights even on the school nights and some times we wouldn't go to school the next day but my aunt didn't know.We would cut schoolto hang out at the mall with our friends and we even let our friends come over and sometimes they sleep over but we didn't know that it would catch up with us and our aunt would eventually find out about everything.
Now i tell you all what's so embarrassing. My sister got pregnant and we didn't know for whom,we had to call the cops because she said she got raped in which came to us as a surprise because it so called happen six months before we found out.We had to give reports on that day it happened but i didn't know that specific day.The cops ask the boy she said raped her but he said he didn't she called him, then called her boyfriend, then their friend and their other friend that i hardly knew.By then i was so embarrassed to say she was my sister that all that i could do was cry everyday because i couldn't change what had happen. We had to move to New York because every one knew about it and talked about it ,they also jugged me the same way because of what my sister had done. That's all there is ,there isn't anymore. The end.
