The Memory

Your Memory keeps walking through my mind.

It won’t leave no matter what I try. I gave it time to

Go but it’s still here, and why I just don’t know.

Could it be that I see your face, in each and every dream

You keep taunting me or so it seems.

I hear your name in each and every gentle breeze, and

Your memory Just brings me to my knees.

The love we shared hangs in my heart and troubles me

But for you it seems to die so easily am I wrong or did

You ever love at all and does my heart hang as some memorial

Upon your wall

Yes in my memory you keep walking through my mind.

It’s your face in my dreams most all the time.

The memory of you still brings me to my knees.
