Leah has always kept herself busy doing gardening, sewing, and many craft projects including Ceramics, embroidery, and decopaging.
She has always loved butterflies and birds, which she collects.
 
Leah has always had the most beautiful flower beds in her neighborhood.
Leah learned to make clothes when she was a young mother. One of her first sewing projects was making a kitchen apron for herself and her Mother-In-Law, Lillian Davenport. She made beautiful dresses for her three daughters, and herself. She made darling little baby outfits and dresses for her grandchildren, and she made the most beautiful baby blankets for each one of her grandchildren and great-children.
Her family has always appreciated their Mother's many talents that made their home more beautiful and special.
