The next morning, dad wasted no time getting started. First of all he prepared the lawn area, using a hoe and rake to break up the ground into a fine tilth and adding Scott's Lawn Soil, a mixture of soil and fertilizer.

In half a day, dad had done more than I was able to get done on a four day weekend at Thanksgiving!
