Angels and Lullabies
Last night as I watched my baby sleeping , I thought about what a precious gift our children are, and that everyday we can hold them, is truly a miracle, and as I watched I saw a smile so sweet, it had to be for an angel.
Chorus Did you know that angels sang lullabies, so pure and sweet, that only angel wings could accompany them. Did you know that angels sang lullabies, while they hold our babies safely threw the night until the morning light, Did you know that angels sang lullabies
Every once in a while a child is given, or is to be given to a mother to love and cherish, but for some reason, sometimes things don't work out right, it maybe an illness or sometimes it never leaves our womb, and this little angel to heaven must return
Chorus
Here down below we sometimes see ourselves, as the best parents a child could have, but can you imagine having Jesus as a Dad, and being held in his heavenly arms, while being rocked in a heavenly rocking chair, while angels stand all around and sing you a lullaby.
Chorus

Do Not Stand and Weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that swiftly blow. I am the diamond glint on newly fallen snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the soft and gentle autumn rain. When you wake from sleep in the early morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft, starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. Anonymous (slightly altered) Last updated April 8, 1998
