One very important tool many use in magic, spells, and ritual is color. Different colors symbolize and attract different things. For example, one might perform a candle spell using a pink candle to strengthen friendship. Or, one might perform a healing spell using a blue candle. Or create a talisman bag using red fabric with certain herbs and/or stones to attract passion and romantic love into their life. Every color has a different meaning, and below you will find a chart showing the meanings of many of the different colors. Many of them are interchangable, and you may make substitutions in the event you do not have a certain color on hand.

Blue (dark)	Goddess, Water Elemental, truth, dreams, protection, change, meditation, impulse
Blue (light)	Psychic awareness, intuition, opportunity, understanding, quests, safe journey, patience, tranquility, ward depression
Blue (any)	Health
Brown	Earth Elemental, endurance, animal health, steadiness, houses and homes, physical objects, uncertainties
Gold	God, solar energy, power, physical strength, success, achievement, mental growth, skill sought, healing energy, intuition, divination, fortune
Gray	Non-nature-type faerie magick (communication with faerie realms, travel to Otherworld, vision quests) veiling, cancellation, hesitation, neutrality
Green	Lord and Lady of Greenwood, Earth Elemental, herb magicks, nature-type faerie magick (blessing a garden), luck, fertility, healing, balance, employment, prosperity, courage, agriculture, changing direction or attitude
Green-yellow	To negate discord, sickness, anger, jealousy
Indigo	Meditation, spirit communication, karma workings, learn the ancient wisdom, neutralize another's magick, ward slander
Lavender	Spiritual development, psychic growth, divination, sensitivity to the Otherworld, blessings
