A wee bit about me....I am a Glasgow Scots lady, living in the Mid-west...How did a Glasgow girl end up coming to live in the mid-west? well its a long story, and I am not going to bore you with it.....suffice
it to say I got married at the 'ripe old age of nearly 17', travelled around a bit,and finally decided on the mid-west as an ideal place to raise our 3 kids.....(the last of whom is now a freshman at Uni.)
I am excited over the fact that I found
the #scotland channel......it has given me a way to be in touch with my 'Ain Folk' as we say! Where I live, there are not that many Scots, and on there I feel I'm 'back hame'.More about me?.....Well...I love to read (mostly Stephen King books) mysteries etc.,.. I enjoy cooking & baking (and collecting recipes)..Music...(anything by Rod Stewart) was also known a few years back to be an avid
Moody Blues fan..also love classical, jazz and will listen to almost any music, except country, which is my least favourite!...and lastly, but certainly not least ....'footerin aboot' with the computer, which I love!! if you want to know any more, ask
