Living now in Montreal has allowed me to practice my French which has had such a dramatic effect that french canadians talk to me in English.

I enjoy social history, writing articles and mainly following what is on the #scotland channel and am astounded at the amount of interesting people on it. It has reinforced to some degree my faith in human nature.

I am probably the oldest male in the # which allows for a certain amount of respect to be shown me! I have been classified as handsome but I had to pay 10 pounds for that comment! A sprightly 200 lb person who has proved that skin can really be stretched in a variety of directions.

I am the most computer illiterate and am trying hard. I eventually will master Wordperfect in about 100 years, so bear with me. I was classified at school in Glasgow as being 'Just short of brilliant' This flattering statement has made me strive for greater things - all of which have alluded me! I am interested in people and social history and enjoy the repartee offered my the channel - the patter is no bad either!

On occasion I write articles and have had a book published. It was a best seller in Upper Strathearn having sold 15 copies most of which were bought by members of my family and distributed amongst them as Christmas gifts so it is unlikely that the outside world will have a clue about them.

I find the wimmin in the channel to be more intelligent than the guys (sorry fellas). Of course I have been wrong before!

From the foregoing the astute will have realised I am Pisces and spent so much time swimming both ways that I actually have not moved from the same spot for about 20 years!
