Piper has been playing the pipes for 21 years, which explains the nickname! He recently participated in the World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow, and has performed on stage with some noted artists, including Scotland's Battlefield Band and Grammy Award winning folk musicians Jay Ungar and Molly Mason.

Aside from piping, he has a busy life as manager of a theater for the performing arts (concerts and drama), and is married with two sons, ages 13 and 6.

If ye go back a few generations, most of Piper's ancestors are from Scotland, with names such as Ferguson and McGlashan in addition to McClellan.

Piper doesn't want to offend any of his many friends in the channel by not mentioning them, so he will offend them all and not mention any of them!!! You know who you are!
