Glasgow and Loch Lomond is where I grew up and got my law degree at Glasgow University before emigrating to Canada (a hundred years ago, or so it seems). Following a career as general counsel of an international company I became a semi-has-been, but opened up a busy litigation law practice in Toronto.

The channel is where this widower is charmed oot o' his kilt by the bonnie lasses, and it's where I relax from the adrenalin of the courtroom and cross swords with fellow-Scots in our traditional pawky wit. As the toast goes: "Here's tae us; Wha's like us; Damn few -- and they're a' deid.
