SOUTHERN
HEMISPHERE AND UNIVERSAL QI
-
the definite angle -
The human body argument
Surely, nothing found out there in the cosmos, that cannot also be found
in the human body.
The human body resembles the spirallic movements that are found in our
galaxy and solar system caused by solar wind.
Even the heart resembles the degrees in angle that we find our planet is
on.

We need to realize that no differences in the human form and functions is
found in people born on either hemisphere.
Acupuncturist all over the world take the same Qi flow of the body as
their starting point and the blood stream in all humans follows the same
pattern.
Although highly individually shaped, the human body shows a vast
collection of spirals, like that on the head in form of a crown, the
spirals in the hands and on the fingers.
It is not found that in people on separate hemispheres the line patterns
in the hand are different.
This could not be so, or else people born on the equator would have no
lines at all.
See what happens when you open your hands and put them together, pinkies
touching. Look at the lines. Can you see you actually have one hand?
Having stemmed from one tiny body cell only, our body resembles the
macrocosmos, the body-cells symbolizing the trillions of stars, spiralling
out to become the magnificent structure of our bodies.
Back to our studies of Feng Shui, Four Pillars of Destiny and Nine Star Ki
- and based on what we discussed here -, we need to abandon the idea that
there can be a difference in applying the technique to find the starting
point of Heavenly Stems and Earthly branches, be they for years, months,
days or hours.
There is no difference in technique used to arrive to a person’s Four
Pillars of Destiny chart.
We cannot deny
differences between hemispheres, but these depict local climatic and
seasonal conditions. Difference in climatic and seasonal realities occur
everywhere around the planet and can be said true each day for each
location on earth. In this aspect, the Southern hemisphere holds no
exclusive position.
As much as we need to reckon with longitude,
we need to reckon with latitude.
We have to always allow for local
conditions, the Southern hemisphere being again no exception to this rule.
It means that Heavenly Stems and Earthly
Branches alter their strength and weakness according to season,
temperature and moisture.
It is said that even between two similar
Four Pillars charts, there would be a difference between the destiny of
these two people when one of them was born in the Rat hour, but in a dark
room, the other born in the same Rat hour, but with the lights on.
The first person will have a fortunate life, the second person will be
poor.
So, it is only natural that the Qi of Stems
and Branches answer to local conditions.
We can see that Water is at its prime in Rat
month.
However, we need to first disconnect Water from Winter here and we also
need to lose the association of the Rat month with an absence of sun.
Instead we need to re-connect Rat with the vast Qi of the cosmos, that is
the same for the entire globe.
Water is at its prime in Rat month, so regarded as Vibrant, regardless of
location.
This means that the Twelve Stages of Life
stay intact also.
However, for a tropical region, the Water contained in Rat month will be
weaker.
In this case, Water in Rat is still Vibrant but Weakened.
For a colder region, the Water contained in Rat will be stronger.
This is the secret in understanding Four Pillars of Destiny.
Local conditions or Latitude do not decide
which of the Stems and Branches we need to choose for certain times, but
once these Stems and Branches are found local conditions affect the
strength of Qi.
It also means that, when Water is the Useful
God, a person born in a colder climate has a better chart.
The Twelve Stages of Life remain the same
for any locality, not entirely changing their modes of being ready,
vibrant, declining, jailed or dead.
