Star attributes

Applying the Arrow technique, you need to use your knowledge of the Star attributes.

You need to have a good idea of the portents of the 2 Earth and 8 Earth Houses and you need to have a dynamic understanding what it means when your Number visits another Number for any given period of time, or your Number is being visited by another Number.

The above example shows indications for this person having been fired around issues having to do with money (7), documents or travels (4), built structures (8 Earth House), study or family (2 Earth House), romance (1) or whatever other Star properties you may find related to these Numbers.

It may also, on the contrary, mean the person will not be fired, but he will be sent on an important assignment.
All this is just academic, to show how you may be able to include this principle in your own assessments.

While your already being able to forecast events in the usual sense must be considered a special ability – for reason that only an astonishingly small portion of the group of people who study and apply Nine Star Ki actually reaches proficiency -, you will belong to a special breed if you are able to take three steps back from what is commonly practised and look at the broader picture.

It is one thing to be able to read the above September square to deduct the ingredients surrounding this particular event, entirely different is your skill of having noticed the significance of the earlier June square that on first consideration would appear to have nothing to do with the event.

Also, having even moved away from the June and September squares, you took note of the October square to sharpen your advise and find additional indications.

There is no way an article like this can include all indications, but any serious student will know how to draw the Luo Shu diagrams and apply the star configurations for the person in front of him.
It is all a matter of taking a birth date, the date of an event, working with one lead and just get yourself in front of some squares.

At the very least you will again have found that time is not a straight line, but rather a cycle. You will know how all is inter related, how no event stands on its own and you will stand in awe over Qi once more.

This is because the principles and techniques may be quite straightforward, but it simply requires you to take pen and paper, watch global news unfold before you and look into people’s destinies until you faint, before you will be able to have the oddities of Qi appear before your conscious mind.

What you need in order to be able to translate Qi into events and translate events back to Qi, is just some basic knowledge of:

- Luo Shu
- Five Transformations
- Yin and Yang
- 9 Star properties

All these can be studied at great length, which is what you need when you were to teach or audit.
