A new impulse

Again, having to choose between these two options we would arrive at the second one as being the most likely one:

- person writing a letter in June will be fired in September.
- person writing a letter in June is in connection to new relationship.

We need to be able to do this when we want to incorporate the Luo Shu in our decisions or when we advice others.

We do not focus on one Luo Shu only, for example to study a specific configuration of Stars in a particular square.
We need the technique of the Arrow to put everything in perspective and we need to draw a string of squares to take our observation to the level of a story. We need to be able to tell a story.

The person will most likely not be fired, but meet another person in June, in September this meeting culminating in some strong decisions, like the decision to move away to live with that other person in October. How do we know this.

We move to the September square once more, but now we add the October square to find our answer.

Note that the 7 Metal person will reside in the 3 Wood House in October. 7 Metal moved from the 2 Earth House in September, to the 3 Wood House in October.

The 3 Wood House reads ‘new impuls’, and we can tell this new impuls must be rather significant because this month, as it is, happens in a year with the person’s Number in the 2 Earth House, i.e. Arrow.

Here, we see 7 Metal Qi take initiative to connect to 8 Earth in the 3 Wood House and we know 8 Earth is a built structure.

Just for the fun of it, and to take you even deeper on your journey understanding Luo Shu, we have more possibilities even than this person being fired or moving away to live with a partner.

It can be that the person was promoted by his employer, or given another assignment, he was notified by letter, but this promotion or assignment comes with a position in another building. Here is the rational.

7 Metal is in the 2 Earth House for the year.
The Arrow is indicated as it is, meaning shift.
7 in the 2 Earth House is visited by 6 Metal.
6 is business related, may be a promotion.
6 may be employer, initiating contact with 7.
7 Metal is in 3 Wood House for the month.
3 indicates “new impuls in existing activity”
7 visits 8: moves away to a built structure.
3 Wood (House) indicates inventions, ideas.
3 is also in 8 Earth House, opposite 6 and 7.

We will now move away even farther from the Arrow dynamic, to show you that we may be able even to tell that the person is most probably either a teacher or a scientist, without having ever met the person. However, here, we need to let go of squares for years or months and rely on the person’s birth square.

We need to superimpose people’s birth squares over the squares for years, months or days for additional information.
