      On Friday the 31st instant, will be sold, on Saint Andrew's wharf, without reserve:-
    The standing and running rigging, sails, anchors, cables, guns, stores, cambouse and materials complete, saved from the bark Progress, stranded last fall in Portneuf Bay.
    The above articles may be viewed at any time previous to the sale, by applying to the undersigned broker's office.

    The ship Prince George, of 297 tons register, John Fotheringham, master, stranded at Kamouraska last fall, with her masts, yards, rigging and other materials.

  Province of Lower-Canada By virtue of a writ of appraisement and  
    Court of Vice Admiralty sale issued out of His Majesty's Court of  
    Vice Admiralty, at the suit of J. D. Schneir
  versus the ship Prince George, John Fotheringham, master; her tackle, apparel and furniture, dated the 5th September instant, and to me directed. I will, on Saturday next, the 12th instant, at Mr. Anthony Anderson's marine store, Pres-de-Ville, proceed to the sale of the following articles:  
    One 14 inch cable, 120 fathoms.  
    A 14 inch cable about 80 fathoms.  
    A 7 inch hawser about 50 or 60 fathoms.  
     Sale to commence at one o'clock.
