Evidence was heard upon a complaint made by George Snook, late master of the ship Ephron of Poole against Joseph Doiron, junior, pilot for and below the harbour of Quebec, for having on the fifth instant, through ignorance and neglect, run the said ship on White Island reef, where she remained stranded; and the charge being made good. It was the unanimous opinion of the board that he had forfeited his branch, and the sentence being, on the twenty eighth day of October, instant, approved by his Excellency the Governor in Chief.
