General history: Admiral Viktr Roth

Born in Metras Aqila, Tarazedi IV 2779.07.25. Joined the Tarazedi Navy in 2800. Rose in rank rapidly, gaining fleet admiral rank in 2821. Petitioned for the commissioning of the Tarazed-Terra Task Force in 2824, at which time he was assigned to lead the expedition to the Sol system. His wife Jessic Roth was killed in 2828 by the Metagen assault. Early in the Starsiege he received word that a former lover had reached Earth and was seeking him, but he was unable to make contact with her before being transfered to Venus in 2833.
On Venus he was betrayed by members of his unit and left for dead in Venus's lifeless northern regions. He discovered Eidolon in a hideout in the Maxwell Mountains, and during this time she instructed him on awakening his latent abilities.
Eidolon disappeared at the end of 2833, but ShatteredStar would encounter her many times in the years to come, including on Mercury in 2835 when he and the Tarazedi fleet reached Fantasma.

Development of abilities

ShatteredStar's psi rating was always high even for a native Tarazedi, but follow-up tests throughout his life howed that it was increasing. In the late 29th century with the advent of the Tarazedi Renewal process, ShatteredStar found he had the ability to completely control his mental and physical being. He studied these abilities for some centuries to gain insight into the functioning of the universe and his own consciousness.

Traits

178cm 70kg brown/brown, Tarazedi/(Irish descent). Possesses numerous cybernetic enhancements, though none are visible. Practiced in the Tarazedi mental Disciplines, especially philosophical. Dislikes most Terrans, considering them decadent, backward, and undisciplined. Quiet and thoughtful unless severely annoyed, at which times he uses his diplomatic skills like a blunt object. His greatest character flaw is his intelligence combined with arrogance, but he is well aware of this and uses it as a diplomatic tool.
His training in the Disciplines allows him to utilize hypnotic and meditative skills easily, and like most Tarazedi he can summon his animal guide and/or anima for advice or debate. His animal guide is thought to be avian, and his anima (as with most Tarazedi) is unknown except to himself, though Maria has identified her.
