Every thursday night, rain hail or shine a group of dedicated artists trudge into the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop to spend another evening drawing and painting the figure. In 2002 we staged our first exhibition as a part of the Fruits of the Hawksbury Festival and it has now become an annual event. Our second exhibition, held at the Maximum Fitness Centre in Richmond on the weekend of November 1st and 2nd 2003, and officially opened by prof.Ron Dunsire was also considered a resounding success!

This was advertised in the Fruits of the Hawkesbury brochure as, ' Toned nudes on display at the gym! A colourful portrayal of the human figure in its many shapes and sizes through the eyes of artists from the Life drawing group of the Community Arts Workshop.'

This is a pictorial display of some of the exhibition this year by artists, Maggie Kable, Jenny Lloyd, Catherine Bargwanna, Joy Paton, Margaret Mackisack, Laurie Wood, Malcolm Robertson, Peter McHugh, Carolyn Clarke, Sue Grocholsky.
