Sailor Moon can’t believe that she’s the leader! With a flash of her brooch, she turns back into Bunny. She picks up the Crescent Moon Wand. “Find the Imperium Crystal and protect the princess...?” she thinks.
Sailor Moon 2, Act 6: Tuxedo Mask

Luna tells Bunny that it’s a special wand that will come in handy and she will show her how to use it later. Looking at Amy, Raye and Lita, Bunny can’t believe that she is the leader of the four soldiers.
With an unknown face calling out to him about the Silver Imperium Crystal, Darien wakes up from his dream. That dream again... he thinks, putting his hand to his forehead. Someone calls out to me...whispering... “Silver Imperium Crystal” ...again and again...but I can’t see their face when I wake up. He looks at a star watch and realizes it’s 6:00. He wonders who that woman with the long hair could be.
Bunny says goodbye to her mother as she leaves for school. Inside the house, Luna wanders into the kitchen where the newspaper is. Bunny’s mom teases her for getting up so early. Luna paws open the paper and is shocked to find an article about the Silver Imperium Crystal in there.
Meanwhile, Bunny joins Amy and Lita before school (Raye goes to a different school). Bunny is about to tell them about this weird dream that woke her up early when she sees Darien coming towards them. She blushes as she remembers the last time they met (on the bus, when he showed her his I.D.). He tells her she should be in school, and Bunny gets angry at him and tells him to get off her back. He goes on his way, and Lita asks who he was, and Bunny replies (blushing) that he’s just some guy she bumps into a lot. Lita calls her a flirt because she’s all red, and Bunny yells that she is not. Amy notices that he goes to a super-elite prep school, and asks if she actually knows that guy. Bunny says “Who, Darien? You can have him...” but Amy and Lita say they kinda like someone else, visualizing Andy the arcade guy. Suddenly Amy remembers something, and asks them all if they read the paper.
Luna is on the phone with someone who apparently works in some sort of media station. He is telling her that Tuxedo Mask made a press statement, and he said that the Silver Imperium Crystal is somewhere in their city. Luna can’t believe it’s Tuxedo Mask, and wonders what that fool is thinking.
But Tuxedo Mask thinks that all the publicity will help him find the Crystal—no matter what, he’ll find it.
Zoisite and Kunzite are looking at all the TV screens with reports on the Silver Imperium Crystal. Kunzite laughs about Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask and the humans all fighting to find the Crystal. Zoisite says it isn’t a joke, they must have the Silver Imperium Crystal and more energy for their master. Then he tells Queen Beryl to leave the energy and the Crystal both to him.
People everywhere are talking about the priceless Silver Imperium Crystal and where it might be.
At a meeting inside the arcade, Amy says everything’s in a panic and the princess is in danger. Luna says she can’t believe this mess and tells Bunny that she didn’t want to think Tuxedo Mask was an enemy. Bunny’s heart beats faster as she thinks that no way he could be an enemy. Lita asks how close they are to finding the princess or catching the enemy. Luna says she’s working on it, and she has a hunch that the enemy is the Evil One, reawakened and trying to conquer the Earth. Luna continues that if the Crystal falls into those hands, there is no hope. Bunny asks how powerful the Silver Imperium Crystal is, if there’s no hope. Luna answers that it is powerful enough to blow away an entire planet. All of them are totally stunned. Amy asks how they can find and protect something that powerful. Luna replies that to protect the Crystal and the Moon Princess is why they were chosen—because this is their destiny, and she was sent from the moon to awaken them. “Luna, you’re from the moon?” Bunny asks. “And the princess...is the Moon Princess?” Luna says pensively that it is a long story that will be told when the time is right, but first they must find the enemy and Tuxedo Mask. As the meeting ends, Bunny begins to play the Sailor V game and she notices that Sailor V’s crescent wand is just like hers. Then she says that since Sailor V fights for justice, maybe she’s really one of them. Amy says that she hasn’t been in the papers lately, and Bunny says that she can’t get the game or Sailor V off her mind. Luna says she hasn’t felt anything, but it’s really affecting Bunny.
All across town, people are becoming increasingly interested in the Silver Imperium Crystal. There is even a talk show with a guest, “Professor Izono” (who looks a lot like a female Zoisite) who is supposedly an expert in the field. She says that the Silver Imperium Crystal holds eternal life and fearsome power. Luna thinks this “expert” sounds pretty fishy, but the program is putting everyone into a trance: all the citizens are suddenly obsessed with finding the crystal.
Elsewhere, “Professor Izono” has noticed that no one has found the Crystal, so she decides to get rid of the people. With a press of a button, blinding light comes out of the TV screens and drains the energy of the Crystal-obsessed people. She says that Tuxedo Mask and those “stupid humans” were quite useful, but now they will pay for not finding the Crystal.
Somewhere else, Darien gasps. He goes to his window and sees all the people outside lying in pain on the ground.
Luna is outside with the laptop computer, and she notices that the streets are strangely quiet. Amy comes up to her, holding her head in pain, and tells her that her body is weak and everyone’s falling over. Luna realizes it’s the enemy, and leads Amy to the deserted arcade. Luna turns on the Sailor V game, says something in a strange language, and the computer gives off a brilliant light. Amy looks around and sees computers everywhere. Luna explains that she uses these computers for work and that they’re connected to the moon’s host computer. She also says that she’s been too busy to notice a strange concentration of energy around Tokyo Tower. Luna tries to contact Bunny, Raye and Lita but the connection won’t work. Just then Amy realizes that the enemy must have been using Tokyo Tower’s antennas and TV waves to brainwash everyone.
Deep underground, Queen Beryl is saying that “soon the Dark Kingdom will rule the Earth” and they won’t have to hide underground anymore. At the same time, Amy says they have to find Bunny and the other soldiers.
Meanwhile, Bunny is feeling weaker and weaker. She knows that the enemy is doing this and she needs to help, but she isn’t strong enough and she faints, the Crescent Moon Wand next to her, which shines. Suddenly Darien turns a corner and sees Bunny lying on the ground. He rushes to her side and feels for her pulse. Bunny can feel her strength coming back with the warm feeling he is giving her. He slaps her cheek gently and tells her to wake up, and she opens her eyes to see Tuxedo Mask (not Darien, apparently he changed) standing over her, and he grabs her hand. She blushes and asks why he is here. He says that this is all his fault, and she can’t believe that he caused all this trouble. But he assures her that he only did it because he wanted to find the Crystal, and he doesn’t have powers like her. Still grasping her hand, he tells her she must transform into Sailor Moon. Bunny is completely shocked to learn that he knows she’s Sailor Moon. As he tells her that only she can save everyone, she feels herself drawn to his all-knowing, strangely familiar eyes. Then she squeezes her brooch and morphs into Sailor Moon.
Meanwhile, the other soldiers and Luna can’t find Bunny, so they transform without her. But just as they burst in on Zoisite, he warps away from them.
Elsewhere, Bunny is looking around at all the people and trying to figure out how to help them. Suddenly she has a flashback to Luna saying “You’re their leader!” But I can’t use fog or fire, like Amy or Raye... she thinks. I don’t have any special powers...I can’t do anything without Luna! Suddenly Tuxedo Mask pulls her towards him and tells her that she can do it. Just then, her wand begins to shine. As she holds it, she can feel its power and wonders if she should try it out. As she begs everyone to come back to life, she uses the wand and a light comes out of it. All the people are healed and wake up again. Sailor Moon faints, and Tuxedo Mask catches her in his arms. He tells her that she did great, kisses her cheek, and carries her away—a star-shaped pocket watch falling into her lap.

Ahh...It’s all over now...I feel strengthened...by a warm touch...I feel myself getting better. That touch...I knew it from long, long ago...
Bunny wakes up to find herself, still in her Sailor Moon uniform, in someone’s bed. She wonders where she is and if it was all a dream. As she removes the covers, she sees a cracked moon-face, star-shaped pocket watch in her lap. She wonders if it belongs to Tuxedo Mask, and turns back into her normal self. She hugs herself and remembers that he saw her transform. She realizes that he was never the enemy, he was always helping her. Then she remembers that he knows everything about her, and wonders why he is helping her and who he really is.
Just then Darien opens the door and asks if she is awake.
