Inside the dark castle, Queen Beryl is talking to Jadeite. She tells him that he has failed her twice now, and he must be prepared for his fate. Jadeite apologizes truly. Just then, another man in a general’s suit, this one with long curly hair, tells Jadeite that his warriors are weak and that Queen Beryl should leave it up to himself, Nephrite. He will gather enough energy and get the Silver Imperium Crystal. Yet another general, this one with long wavy hair tied back behind him, wonders if the Sailor Soldiers are also after the Silver Imperium Crystal. They ask Queen Beryl to tell them where the Crystal is. She glares at them, and only tells them that it is the source of all energy, a stone with endless power and the one who controls it will rule the universe. That is why no one must get in the way of the Dark Kingdom. She goes on to tell Jadeite that he has one more chance to redeem himself. Jadeite swears to find the Sailor Soldiers and destroy them.
In a temple somewhere, a young priestess with long black hair is reading the fire. She says that she can feel something evil about to happen.
Outside the Sendai Hill Temple, two little girls are running to catch the bus. One of them (her name is Mimi) waves goodbye to Raye (the priestess) and she says goodbye. The bus driver (who looks like Jadeite) looks at Raye (Rei) before driving off.
At Crossroads (Juuban) Junior High, rumors are going around about the “Phantom Bus.” They say that if you ride the 6:00 Sendai Hill bus, you never come back. Bunny is asleep with Luna in her arms, who is muttering something about teenage girls and rumors. Luna taps Bunny awake to tell her that after school they have a strategy meeting with Amy—at the arcade, which promptly wakes Bunny up. At that moment, Ms. Haruna enters the classroom, Luna jumps on her head, and Ms. Haruna shrieks and asks angrily who brought a cat to school. Bunny sheepishly says the cat is hers, and Ms. H. yells at her.
Later, at the arcade meeting, Bunny and Amy are playing the Sailor V game, and the arcade guy, Andrew, is watching. As Bunny plays the game, Amy (aside to Luna) says that she still can’t believe they are Sailor Soldiers with special powers—it still feels so new. Then she asks Luna who the “enemy” is and what their motive is. Luna replies that they need to protect the princess and the Silver Imperium Crystal. As Bunny rejoices about clearing two levels, Amy repeats “Silver Imperium Crystal...?” and Luna stares at her mysteriously. Suddenly a prize pops out of the Sailor V game; it is two watches—one for Bunny, one for Amy. Luna quickly snatches them away, saying those are for her and they will use them as communicators. Amy asks Luna if she adjusted the game machine, and Luna winks. Just then they notice that it’s after five o’clock, and Amy cries out that she has a lesson. Bunny whines that it’s boring without her, and Amy asks if she wants to come too. She says a young priestess rides on the same bus she takes. Just as Bunny says she’s heard of the Sendai Hill bus, Melvin pops up and starts saying that it’s known as the 6:00 Phantom Bus, and she shouldn’t ride it because there have been missing children reports. Bunny tells him it’s just a rumor and gets on the bus with Amy.
On the bus, Amy points out the priestess—it’s the girl from the temple, now wearing a school uniform. Bunny thinks she’s really beautiful. Amy gets off at her stop, but Bunny gets off at the Sendai Hill stop (Raye’s stop). Luna yells at Bunny, asking if she got off at this stop just to follow the girl. They notice that she’s gone, and Luna points to the temple entrance and says maybe she went in there. Just as Bunny walks in, crows begin to attack her. Raye comes out from inside the temple (thinking that there’s an evil spirit outside) and sees someone being attacked by the crows. She pulls out a piece of paper with Japanese writing on it, shouts “Aku Ryo Tai San!” and throws the paper at Bunny. It hits her square in the face and she faints. Raye realizes that it’s a young girl, not a demon.
When Bunny wakes up, Raye apologizes for her mistake. She says that she felt an evil spirit and says that the crows don’t normally attack people, and Bunny thinks to herself that it’s cool that she’s a priestess, even though she scared her. She’s so exotic and pretty...maybe we’ll become friends! Bunny thinks. Just then, Raye hears a voice praying for Mimi to be brought back to them. Raye asks if something happened to Mimi. Her mother notices Raye and tells her that their daughter Mimi is missing, and has been ever since she rode the 6:00 “Phantom Bus.” Raye doesn’t even appear to be surprised, and (aside) her parents say that Raye’s whole family is strange—they pray with weird chants, keep crows as pets, and some say they have ESP. Luna notices that she is a strangely powerful yet calm girl, and with her elegant face, flowing movements, and priestess status, she could be the princess. As Bunny (and Luna) listen, Raye explains that Sendai Hill is where five roads meet, but legend has it that there was one more phantom road. It is said that the 6:00 Phantom Bus disappears down that sixth road, and it is called a Hell Heist.
Meanwhile, in the dark castle, Nephrite is telling Jadeite that his plan is weird. Jadeite says that the enemy will be drawn there with all the “bait.” Several people are shown, fainted and wiped out. Jadeite says that there is no need to suck their energy, they will simply offer them to their “great master”—along with “that Sailor Soldier’s” head.
In Bunny’s classroom, the gossiping girls are talking about the latest girl to disappear down the Phantom Bus route. Ms. Haruna tells them all to be quiet, and says that lately there have been some incidents of missing people, and they all must be very careful. As Melvin asks Bunny if she thinks it’s a kidnapping ring, Bunny is thinking about Hell Heists.
After school, Luna is saying that she senses the enemy and they should check out Sendai Hill and pay a visit to the priestess. Bunny says that maybe Raye’s also a Sailor Soldier, or maybe she’s with the enemy. Luna is impressed, she says Bunny sounds like a real Sailor Soldier. Suddenly Luna sees the bus is coming, and Bunny can’t believe they’re taking the bus. Once on the bus, Bunny says that if there’s trouble it’s her fault. Luna says don’t worry, it’s only 5:00 and they have the remote to contact Amy. Suddenly Luna notices something Bunny can’t see and begins flailing her arms. “Luna, what are you trying to say?!” Bunny asks, bewildered. Just then, a voice says “Yeah, Luna, go ahead and say it.” It is the guy that Bunny keeps running into, and she freaks out, saying “Agghh! It’s you again!” He tells her to stop shrieking, and calls her “Miss Pig-tails.” She asks why he’s here, and he says he takes this bus to school. She can’t believe he’s a regular student like her. He holds out his I.D. card, saying he is a legitimate student. She reads “Darien Shields [Chiba Mamoru], Azabu High School, 11th Grade”. Then Bunny asks if he knows about the Phantom Bus. Darien says of course, there have been weird incidents lately. Looking at his profile, Bunny thinks that he looks like her “protector,” Tuxedo Mask. Suddenly she realizes she is blushing and turns away. Darien looks at her profile and notices how much she looks like Sailor Moon. Apparently letting the words slip out of his mouth, he addresses her as “Champion of Justice”. “What?!” she says, freaking out. Darien covers his mouth (slightly blushing) and says nothing. As Bunny and Luna get off the bus at Sendai Hill, Bunny says he freaked her out, and Luna says he is pretty sharp. Darien watches her leave, flashing back to when he heard the cat say “I’ve got the remote to contact Amy” and when he heard that computer disk saying things about gathering energy and the Silver Imperium Crystal.
At Raye’s temple, Mimi’s parents are telling Raye that they want her to use her ESP to find Mimi. Raye says that she can’t always control when her ESP works, and it’s best to leave it to the police. Angrily, Mimi’s mother asks why can’t she be a sweet girl for once—after all, they donate to this temple and with all those weird prayers she does, they wouldn’t be surprised if Raye made Mimi disappear. Raye shouts at them to go home. As the people leave, Raye sees Bunny watching from the temple entrance and hurries away. Bunny says that it’s not poor Raye’s fault. Luna says she doesn’t understand the enemy’s goal—if this is the enemy, why aren’t they searching for the Silver Imperium Crystal? “The enemy also wants the Silver Imperium Crystal?” Bunny asks, and Luna says that’s right.
Inside the temple, Raye is studying the fire. In it she sees some evil-looking guy (Jadeite) strangling Bunny.
Outside, Luna tells Bunny that she must never let the enemy get the Silver Imperium Crystal. Tuxedo Mask is watching them.
Inside the temple, Raye says she’s got a bad feeling that Bunny’s in danger. She rushes outside to the bus, which has just arrived. She realizes that the bus driver is the same guy she saw through ESP. Suddenly she notices her feet moving on their own—the bus driver is pulling her inside the bus!
Bunny looks at her watch and notices that it’s six o’clock. Suddenly, Luna points out that the sign of the bus coming towards them is blank and blinking. As it passes by them, Bunny sees Raye unconscious inside the bus. She sees the bus go right through a solid wall and says that that’s the Phantom Bus and she has to help Raye. She pulls out her Moon Pen and shouts “Moon Power! Morph into a stewardess!” She is now dressed as a stewardess and she runs after the bus. Luna asks why she turned into a stewardess, and Bunny replies that it’s her duty to help the passengers. Bunny struggles to get onto the bus through a window, but Luna falls off and is caught by Tuxedo Mask, who has the most bewildered look on his face. Bunny cries out for him and Luna as they fade from sight. The bus begins to travel through space and Bunny is scared—she’s all alone, without Luna or Tuxedo Mask.
Back on the ground, Tuxedo Mask is thinking about how she transformed before his very eyes. “Who is she…?!” he wonders. Luna jumps from his arms and runs away.
Amy’s wristwatch communicator goes off. It is Luna, telling her that Bunny’s on the Phantom Bus. They meet up, and Luna says she hopes they can contact her with the remote phone (on Amy’s laptop, which she brought along). A beeping signal on the screen suddenly goes off the screen and lands on the ground. “She’s headed…down?!” Amy says. Just then, Amy’s communicator goes off with Bunny’s voice asking for Luna. She cries for help, the bus warped and now there’s a stone castle and she fell from the bus. Luna tells her to transform and help the people. With sudden determination, Bunny says OK.
Meanwhile, Jadeite is leaning over Raye, saying that she’s something special, this girl.
Amy tells Luna to warp her to where Bunny is. Luna gives Amy two morphing pens. Amy uses one of them to transform into Sailor Mercury.
Elsewhere, Sailor Moon has transformed as well. With a flash, Sailor Mercury appears. Just then, Jadeite says he’s been awaiting them and suddenly puts his arm over Raye’s throat, strangling her. Sailor Moon tells him to let Raye go, she won’t let him kidnap innocent kids, and on behalf of the moon, he’s punished. Raye notices that the voice sounds familiar, and just then Sailor Mercury makes fog appear all around. She tells Sailor Moon to help Raye while the fog lasts, but Jadeite freezes all the fog into little pellets. Through the communicator, Luna tells Bunny to be strong and use the Moon Frisbee. Bunny pulls it off and uses it to attack Jadeite. It forms a solid ring around him (with a move on the keyboard from Luna). Angrily, he uses some sort of power to knock Sailors Moon and Mercury against the wall. Luna tells Amy to use the pen she gave her, it’s their only hope. Sailor Mercury throws the pen at Raye, and the symbol of Mars glows on Raye’s forehead as the pen shines. Sailors Moon and Mercury watch amazed, as the crows appear and Raye turns into a Sailor Soldier. Raye says “Aku Ryo Tai San!” and the crows attack Jadeite, who is destroyed. Luna tells everyone to get out of there now. The Soldiers gather up all the kidnapped children and bring them back to the normal world. The kids wake up and wonder what happened to them. Raye looks down at her sailor uniform and asks why she is wearing these clothes. Luna tells her that she uses fire as her power, and protected by Mars, she is Sailor Mars. Sailors Moon and Mercury say that she’s one of them and they’ve been searching for her. Sailor Mars can’t believe that her special powers are because she’s a Sailor Soldier.
Through the crystal ball, Nephrite sees the three Soldiers and is very angry. He says on behalf of warrior Jadeite, he won’t let them get away with this.
