I am two pounds down, back to where 2001 started. Only 8 more to go before the wedding! Everything else is so-so.

I woke up right when McVeigh died. I know a lot of people are ambivalent about this whole capital punishment thing, and I am right in there with them. I'm also of two minds about McVeigh's afterlife. Is he in Hell? How would he know it was Hell unless he finally understood what he did? And if he didn't know when he did it how wrong it was, would God punish him? But yet if God fixed all the wrongnesses in McVeigh's mind, he'd understand and be in a Hell of his own making, even though he would be in Paradise. No wonder Catholics have Purgatory!

Bowling was awful again. Less said, the better. 118, 85, 96. Blech. Down another pin, so my average is 103. And we won't be bowling for two weeks. Maybe I'll remember how then!
