Hello! My name is Emily Clader (well, I guess you already knew that...), and this is my trial run at making a website. Obviously it is still very primitive, but hey, I guess it's fun. This site will serve primarily for my online portfolio, but I have not been able to get that completely up and running yet. It will also give me a way to share random things about myself or random obsessions of mine (i.e. ireland and my music collection) even if no one cares to explore them. Perhaps if I actually turn this into a website in the next week, I will be able to use it for my online journal when I go to Europe...you know, keep the familia and friends updated as to what awesome things I am doing. It should be fun. :) Anyway, a little about myself... I go to Whitworth College in Spokane, WA, and this site is for my webdesign class which is part of my art (graphic design track) major. Yep, I'm an art major. Well, I'm a double major in Art and Psychology with an English minor. I don't know yet exactly how I'm going to pull it off, but I will make it happen, and I'm actually pretty excited about it. For the most part I LOVE college (although I'm questioning that right now as I work on this at 4:46 in the morning...). I love the people I have met here, and I'm a nerd who usually loves my classes too. I am from Montrose, CO - a little town on the western slope of Colorado. After being in Spokane for almost two years, I have definitely realized how much I love Colorado, and I am excited to get back there this summer. Ok, I'm pretty sure I have gone way over 400 words by now, and it's time to get moving with this thing since I have been working on it for well over 24 hours so far and still have SOOO far to go...not to mention I still don't understand what I'm doing, and I have two huge paintings AND a final ALL on Tuesday. Hmmmm yeah I kinda hate my life right now.
