Mary-Kate and Ashley have been sharing the role of Michelle Tanner since the age of nine months. At first, they only appeared on screen cooling or drooling. When they began blabbing and walking, the producers of the show knew they had some real talent on their hands. Mary-Kate and Ashley had a special talent for making people laugh! So each episode, the producers gave them more to do. Pretty soon Michelle became just as important a character on the show as anyone else. Eventually, many of the Full House storylines were based solely around her and her friends. 

Now, years since their television debut, Mary-Kate and Ashley have recorded several record albums, starred in made-for-TV-movies, and boogied to their own songs in a bunch of spunky music videos. The Olsen girls' faces also have appeared on everything from T-shirts, and lunch boxes to talking dolls and Colorforms.
