Fed Cup match Belgium vs The Netherlands will took place in April 17 and 18 in Brabanthallen, 'S HERTOGENBOSCH, HOLLAND. And YESSSSSSSSSSS!!! Belgian Team achieved their goal - getting back to World Group I - and in quite a style - they won 5-0!
Dominique played tough first singles match, won it, but wasn't able to take part in next matches she was scheduled for. But the rest of the team gave their best and the final result was very impressive! Check some photos of the Dominique match (thanks Aug. and Sandra!)

25.-26.07.98 - Fed Cup qualification match Belgium - Slovakia.

Unfortunately things are not looking so good for Dominique and other Belgian girls after first day of competition - Sabine lost her first match against Nagyova 5-7 4-6 and Dominique the second singles 2-6 3-6 against Karina Habsudova... So it will be tough tomorrow to defend their place in World Group I... But we all still hope it to happen!!!
As it came out - it wasn't supposed to be this time... sadly though... Second day was as unfortunate as the first one - Dominique lost her second singles match to Henrietta Nagyova 4-6 3-6 and Sabine lost to Karina Habsudova 2-6 6-4 5-7... So it was 0-4 after singles matches. At least the end was a bit better - Els and Dominique won their doubles match against Husarova/Studenikova in straight sets 7-5 6-1. So the final score was 1-4 and Belgium has to try to climb up to World Group I again next year.
