Yayoi Schwael is the former pilot of the Core Robot #1 shortly before Kazuki arrived in the parallel world. She was badly injured and no longer to continue to be the pilot of the Core Robot as Kazuki takes her place. Yayoi Schwael, who is several years older than the other pilots, develops a fondness for Kazuki early in the series after he saves her life. She is one of the workers Ken Sanada's facility in the real world.
