Episode 10: A Clue to the Digipast
Mimi and Palmon have been stranded on a tropical fragment of Flie Island, and are greeted by two rude digimon. After Mimi insults these two digimon they begin to chase her and Palmon. They decide to take her digivice, but when they touch it they begin to glow, and turn out as nicer (yet still annoying digimon). They show Mimi that another "creature" like herself had landed on a nearby island. Palmon uses her Poison Ivy to create a brige that she and Mimi cross. The other "creature" on this island is Izzy, componied by Tentomon. They both stumble across a temple with a large black gear in the corner, and walls covered with digi programming code (see episode 5), which Izzy imedeatly begins to translate, while Izzy sits bored. By the time Mimi and Palmon reach the temple, Izzy is to busy decoding the walls to notice Mimi, and she runs off deeper into the temple, crying about how she worked so hard to find him, with Tentomon conforting Mimi all the way, leaving Palmon and Izzy behind. Palmon accuses Izzy of playing computer games, but what Izzy had ironically done is by decoding the walls Izzy was able to create a map of the intire temple, which is actually a gian labrynth. Inside the labrynth, Mimi and Tentomon have become lost, and Mimi will not listen to Tentomon's ideas of finding a way out because she assumes he is just as big as a nerd as Izzy. Back in the main entrace of the temple, Izzy finds a way to link their two digivices over the map he has pulled up, and is able to locate Mimi's position, and Mimi's anger of Izzy (and Tentomon) fades. As Izzy tries to direct Mimi out of the labrynth, he notices another signal on the map, which turns out to be the gear controlled Centarumon. Centarumon catches up with Mimi and Tentomon and leads them into a dead end. Just before Centarumon uses his Solar Attack, Izzy breaks though the wall with Palmon. Tentomon and Palmon digivolve and by conbining their attacks are able to drive the black gear out of Centarumon, who turns out to be a nice digimon. Back in the temple Centarumon explains to the two kids that he is the gaudian of the temple of the digivice, whe he explains have the power to drive out evil (black gears) from digimon. No sooner than Centarumon explains the digivices, than the now evil Leomon appears. Mimi sheilds herself with her purse, which has her digivce on the band, and it begins to glow. Izzy realizes that this must be the power Centarumon had explained and he holds his digivice in Leomon's face. Disturbed by the light, Leomon flees the temple. Minuets later, Izzy and Centarumon begin to discuss how to reverse the black gear in the cornder of the temple to head back to Infinity Mountain. The two haven't the slightest, and Mimi, out of anger, kids the stupid gear, which reverses its rotaion! The two are now headed back to Infinity Mountian where the final battle shall take place...
