Episode 5: Kabuterimon's Eletroshocker
Synopsis
After traveling for miles, the Digidestined decide to take a rest. Izzy is finally able to get his computer online, and Tai finds a factory. After entering the factory the kids split up into two teams: Tai, Sora, Joe, and their digimon on one team, and Matt, T.K., Mimi, Izzy, and their digimon on the other team. While exploring the factory, Tai's team comes accross Andoromon caught in some of the gears of the factory. After pulling him from the twisted gears, one of Devimon's black gears is inserted into Andromon's leg. Andromon powers up and attaks the kids, but thanks to Agumon's pepper breath, the kids are able to escape Andromon. Meanwhile, Matt's team is observing the assebley line of the factory noticing that peices of a mysterious machene are being peiced together. Izzy on the other hand finds a giany battery, and discovers it has an entracne. Inside the battery is a binary code, but when Izzy touches one of the symbols he accidently erases part of the code which shuts off all the light in the factory. Stumbling around in the dark, Tai's team still being persued by Andromon find their way onto a balcony where Tai uses a crane to "hold Andromon up". Back in the batter Izzy repairs the code with a marker, and tries to decipher the code. Tentomon is impressed by Izzy's work ethic and questions Izzy's obsesson with "were did digiworld orgrinate?" After having a fuzzy flashback of Izzy's parents discussinh Izzy's uncertian origns, Izzy cracks the code of Tentomon's digivolving. Izzy rushes to find Matt's team who have concluded that the factory is in perpetual motions, seeing that the assebly line took apart the peices of the machine futher down to line, and that there'sno way out of perpetual motion! When no sooner than Izzy finds Matt's team, then Tai's team shows up with an angry Andromon. Augumon and Gabumon digivovle to Graymon and Garurumon. Andromon through is more powerfull than these two digimon. Izzy then reactiveate's Tentomon's digilution code and Tentomon digivolves to Kabuterimon. Izzy finds Andromon's weak point, his gear-infected leg, and Kabuterimon uses his Eletroshocker to drive out the black gear. Andromon, greatful for having the gear driven out of him, shows the seven Digidestened a path out of the factory into the sewer of the Numemon . . .
