HENRY william c. [Parents] was born 24 May 1926 in dycusburg, crittenden co., KY. He died 14 Mar 1999 in geneseo, IL. He was buried in dycusburg cem,dycusburg KY. He married BROWNFIELD lois marie 13 Dec 1947 in Morganfield, KY.
William was born in Kentucky. He served in the armed forces in the World War 2 where he was a chauffer for Mammie Eisenhower. After his return from the Army he lived in Kentucky for several years and then moved to Rosiclare after he and Lois Marie Brownfield married. He worked in the spar mines where he was injured ( he was in his 20's) Had his back broken in 3 places. He recovered and moved to Metropolis where he worked for a furniture store and rented a farm from the Mollers. Very nice family.. He then moved on to the Rock Island, IL area where he stayed.. working for Allied Stone company retiring in 1990 after 2 heart attacks, then a stroke in 1995 . Lived with left side paralyzed until he died in 1999.. He enjoyed fishing, camping , hunting and his children and grandchildren and his great grand children. He passed away March 14, 1999 and will be missed by all.
BROWNFIELD lois marie [Parents] was born 18 May 1930 in rosiclare, hardin co., IL. She died 28 Sep 2000 in Rock Island, IL . She was buried in Dycusburg cemetery Ky.. She married HENRY william c. 13 Dec 1947 in Morganfield, KY.
Lois was born in Rosiclare where she grew up.. She married William C. Henry and had four children. Glenice Marlene, Edna Dianne, William C. Henry III, Charles Dewayne Henry. Owned and operated Queen's Florist in Andalusia for many years.
