The drawings above attempt to indicate the flow of water from the centre fountain out in 3 & 4 directions (see dotted lines). The motion is in a lemniscate (fig. 8) swirling wave. In each of the dual sections the water pulses from side to side in a rhythmic undulation before overflowing into the next level of the waterfall. The activity of falling & churning motion is alternated with that of the Rhythmic dancing wave.
All is repeated at each level. This dance & churn imitates Natures regenerating flow observed in rivers & streams. Some of the wave motion can be seen off the water reflections on the images above & below to left
