John Adams s/o
Robert and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Adams and grandson/o James and Agnes (Wilson) Adams,
b. 1790, KY, d. 1840. Many Ann's husband John Adams was the first
sheriff of Izard Co., AR, serving three terms. He was also county
clerk and a member of the Constitutional Convention of Arkansas.
Three of their sons, Ervin, Patrick Henry, and Jacob went to the gold
fields of California in 1850. John Adams is buried in the Herron
Cemetery.

her second husband John Quincy Adams (RN44). Richard Ervin

second husband of Ann
Jane (McFelch/McFeilch) Wolf (RN48). Ann Jane (McFelch)
Wolf) who was the wife and eventually the widow of James
Madison Wolf) and the mother of his son James Madison Wolf, Jr.
She later married Richard Ervin Adams and together they had nine
children. Some sources have her named spelled differently (McFielch/McFeilch)
and some show her as Mary Ann. |

and later Jesse H. Wolf (RN32) the Major's son and seventh child.
