Mary Ann Wolf 4 (Michael,3 Jacob,2 Michael1) b. 1790, in NC, d. 1860, m. (1) Josiah Settles and  had  a son, Josiah, who was also referred to as Junior, she then married (2) in 1821 John Adams s/o Robert and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Adams and grandson/o James  and Agnes (Wilson) Adams, b. 1790, KY, d. 1840.  Many Ann's husband John Adams was the first sheriff of Izard Co., AR, serving three terms.  He was also county clerk and a member of the Constitutional Convention of Arkansas.  Three of their sons, Ervin, Patrick Henry, and Jacob went to the gold fields of California in 1850.  John Adams is buried in the Herron Cemetery.

Mary Ann Wolf Adams's son Richard Ervin Adams
 Richard Ervin "Ervin" Adams b. 1822, son of Mary Ann Wolf (RN9) and her second husband John Quincy Adams (RN44).  Richard Ervin  also became the
second husband of Ann Jane  (McFelch/McFeilch) Wolf (RN48).   Ann Jane (McFelch) Wolf) who was the wife and eventually the widow of James Madison Wolf) and the mother of his son James Madison Wolf, Jr.   She later married Richard Ervin Adams  and together they had nine children.  Some sources have her named spelled differently (McFielch/McFeilch) and some show her as Mary Ann.

9-3  Alexander Hamilton Adams, b. 1824, d. 1866, m. Mary Sarena Kellough  who was suppose to be a sister to Phoebe Kellough(RN200) who married W.M. Wolf
 oldest son of the Major and to Jane Kellough  who married Calvin Luther  and later Jesse H. Wolf (RN32) the Major's son and seventh child.

5  Jacob Adams, b. 1828, d. 1886 in California.
6  Patrick Henry Adam
Patrick Henry Adams, b. 1830, d. 1907 m. Isaphena Stubblefield (RN55).  He d. in Yorkfield, CA.
