John Pierce Wolf,⁶ (Jesse H.,⁵ Jacob,⁴ Michael,³ Jacob,² Michael¹) b. 25 May 1853, d. 28 Aug 1927, m. 24 Jul 1883 at McPhearson, AR in the home of the bride by J.E. Wolf, J.P., Fannie Forrest Luther d/o Calvin and Jane Kellough Luther who was b. 20 Feb 1865, d. 27 Mar 1944.   There is a known family burial plot on what was the John Pierce Wolf farm located across the river from the Wolf House in Norfork.  When the site was visited in the summer of 2004, it was very evident where the house had stood and where the cistern was located.  There were some beautiful day lillies blooming in what would have been the flower garden around the outline of what was once the house.  The family cemetery was about 200 yards down the slope from the house to the West away from the White River.  A letter from Fannie Luther Wolf written to John Quincy Wolf when he was gathering information for his book, Life in the Leatherwoods exists and lists the following family members:
