Can I use my Palm to browse the web? Sure! There are several web browsers available for the Palm. I will discuss two such web browsers which I have used successfully on my Palm III and Palm V.
PalmScape
PalmScape is a text-based browser (freeware) available from most Palm archive sites. The plus to using a text-based web browser is its speed; The negative is no graphics! Using such a browser is easy and intuitive. Once you make a PPP Internet connection using your Palm and modem, you can start up PalmScape (Figure 1). Figure 2 shows PalmScape loading up the Yahoo web page.

ProxiWeb
ProxiWeb is a graphical-based web browser which makes use of a Proxi Server. By default, the application is setup to use two possible Proxi Server machines for processing the graphical images. Figure 3 shows ProxiWeb's startup screen.
