  Where do I start?

Whenever I'm asked this question, I give the same answer. Read, read, read! Read whatever you can get your hands on.

I personally believe books are the best because they give more information than the internet can even bring up right now. So at the bottom of this page I have listed my personally suggested books. And of course, I have read all of these or I wouldn't suggest them to you. If you are unable to buy or borrow any books then for now you might want to just read around the internet and gather all the information you can find.

Another good idea is that you might want to subscribe to some mailing lists or magazines. There you can learn from others too.

Start a journal! This is a great way to get more in touch with yourself and your personal beliefs. Set aside a 3-ring binder or any type of journal to write about your dealings with Wicca. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Mine is just a three ring binder with some paper in it, including everything I've written about my learnings. I also have some dividers for different subjects dealing with Witchcraft, but you don't have to worry about that right now.

Ask yourself these questions and write it down in your journal. Be honest with yourself! No one else is going to read this.
What needs are you feeling right now?
Why do you want to be Wiccan?
What do you feel you will gain by studying the Craft?
What do you fear you will lose if you continue this path?
How do you view the Divine?
What do you think it means to be a Witch?

If you are looking for this to be your path or just looking for any path, it's always good to start to meditate as it is for just a healthy lifestyle. The more you meditate, the easier it is to handle things that might pop up in your life. During meditation, you can also look into yourself to find the true path for you or reach divine insight.
