Earth bound angel
Occasionally, we are graced with the presence of an earth
bound angel. They are unable to stay with us for long, but
while they do, they bring unprecedented joy and happiness to
all they touch. While they are here, we bask in their goodness
and marvel at their contribution to the world. When they
leave, we are left with the devastation that comes with losing
such a wonderful being... but we must remember... the earth
bound angels are not ours to keep. They are ours to enjoy,
learn from, and behold until they return home.

Cyndi was called home to be with Lord Jesus on Wednesday, July 14, 1999. She left a loving family and a lot of friends. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers lifted up in petition for her health and happiness and for always being so nice to her, and in helping her smile. Cyndi loved life and loved to be around her friends. She is free from the pain which she lived with for all of her twenty years, and now she is in God's home where she will be pain free and E.B. free for eternity. Praise God !!! When we meet her in our heavenly home, She won't look like the earthly Cyndi but the heavenly Cyndi. Cyndi was the joy of our life. As selfesh human beings we did not want to lose her, but it broke our hearts to see her in such pain. Please continue to remember Cyndi's family in prayer. Her mother, daddy and sister"s life revolved around hers for 20 years. Now it will be like they are starting all over again. They are going to need a very strong support group. I don't think any one could find a stronger group than the ones that know how some one with EB suffers. God bless all of you who are there for them. Cyndi's Grandmother, July 30, 1999
"OUR ANGEL ON EARTH IS NOW OUR ANGEL IN HEAVEN"
Pink Headstone with baby angel gazing at Cyndi's name in the stars,
This is Cyndi's signature that was enlarged and engraved in stone.
Her sister designed the front & back from her ideas. Mr. Gardner at Buntyn Monument co. loved all this and complemented Sherri on her great taste and imagination.
11/24/00 The dragon fly ( mosquito hawk ) reminds me of the time I was pushing Cyndi in her wheelchair for a walk on Beach Blvd. here in Pascagoula, MS late one afternoon, when the gulf breeze quit blowing and the mosquitoes starting buzzing around us and Cyndi got worried that she would be bitten by them, because one bite would cause swelling that would immediately be followed by a water blister the size of a half-dollar or larger. We were about 300 yards from the van and I knew she might be bitten and while we were walking, I told her not to worry because God will protect us and we asked God in prayer to watch over her and protect her from the mosquitoes. I kept walking as fast as I could push her, when all of the sudden the sky got grayer and I looked up and saw thousands and thousands of mosquito hawks, I told Cyndi to look up, God has sent those mosquito hawks to protect you Cyndi. I'll never forget that big smile on her face when she saw them flying in the sky around us. We witnessed many answers to prayer but this answer was truly a miracle. Praise God! |
