Hustle & bustle, rushing here - rushing there;
What shall we buy for Aunt Lucy this year?
Did you remember to call up your Mother?
To ask about Christmas dinner with your brother?
So many things to do - so little time to get it all done!
Now, which list did I put Jason's sizes on - - - could this be the one?
Been to the mall so many times this year,
That the clerks know me by name, "Welcome back, Rita"....OH DEAR!
Better make myself a note, though I'm not quite sure why
Won't be able to find it when I'm ready to BUY!
How does this holiday sneak up on us so fast?
Has it REALLY been a whole year since we had Christmas last?
Well, better get busy, time's flying along right past me,
There was something I was thinking - - what could it be?
I know what it was; better say it before I forget!
