Mr. T thinks his comeback bid was a mistake. The former ‘A-Team’ star was looking to resurrect his acting career after beating cancer three years ago.

Now the Hollywood hard-man says he has better things to do with his time:

"I’m not really interested in no TV series, I’ve been there, done that. I’m not interested in a movie, I’ve been there, done that. They’re rocky. So I use my situation, my notoriety; it allows me to go back to different neighbourhoods to try to be an inspiration to kids, and inspiration to young people to give them hope. I can let them see what I’ve been through and they can go through it too, you know. So I just use myself that way." Re-runs of the ‘A-Team’ in America have made Mr. T popular with a new generation. He’s also appeared in a series of phone commercials in the States, but reckons the move backfired when female fans started to chase him for money.
