28. Determine how much of the network structure must be built to prove that the network design meets the customer's needs.

  1. In deciding whether to build a prototype or pilot, it's useful to keep in mind that
    A. Pilot projects are most practical when applied to very large and complex configurations.
    B. Prototypes are generally most useful for very small configurations.
    C. Prototypes provide a means to deliver scaled down, cost effective pilot projects.
    D. The decision to build either one will probably be made by the customer based on relative cost versus benefit.
    E. They might produce pitfalls that can cause a negative reaction.
  2. How should a prototype network be implemented and tested? (CATAList)
    A. As a replacement for the production network and tested during off hours.
    B. Gradually integrated into the production network and tested during off-hours.
    C. Gradually integrated into the production network and tested during normal business hours.
    D. Gradually integrated into the production network and tested during peak hours.
    E. In a lab environment as a test network.
