I sure hope that they ALL received just what they wanted most:) Smokey Girl! Here is what I would love to receive on Valentine's Day: enough roses to take a bath in them! Purrrs, Smokey Girl Doesn't she look beautiful in a bath filled with red roses!  BeBeast has submitted this lovely essay describing her dream lover. Lucky Dragon! BeBeast also describes the prey she would most love to hunt: I have come to the catclusion that meows fafurite things to hunt are mices. I also hunt down any person that has just gotten out of the shower. Meow luffs to dry them off. I get a catitude if I dont get to lick shoulders and legs dry.  How to Hunt a Leprechaun, by Smokey Girl Since I have never seen a leprechaun, I checked the internet so I would know my prey. Supposedly, leprechauns live by themselves and spend their time making shoes. They also have a hidden pot of gold. Well, I would stalk through the grass very quietly and listen for that little hammer and sneak up on him. If you catch one, he can be forced to tell you where his treasure is, but the captor must keep their eyes on him every second. If the captor's eyes leave the leprechaun (and he often tricks them into looking away), he vanishes and all hopes of finding the treasure are lost. One look at me and I know he'd tell me where the treasure is. I will keep my eyes very steady on him. Has anyone here ever found one?  BeBeast Kitty has been busy preparing an Easter Egg for the guild. BeBeast also prepared this essay on Easter Egg Hunts: Easter here can be lots of fun. One year we had an Easter Egg hunt. Meows Sisfur RC and Mama Yak tell me that there were little children running around with ribs. From what I hear the begging was exquisite! Meowmie alpurries hides the candies:) mew would know if a real rabbit was in my house. After she hides them I bat them around and makes sure that they are hidden properly. Purries BeBeast

Smokey's Essay about her SPECIAL KIND OF HUGS, written in honour of Hug Your Cat Day! Meowmie's Hugs, by Smokey Girl
Every morning my meowmie visits with me. I will come out from where I am sleeping and talk to her, then jump up on my favorite chair. She will pet me and talk to me but my favorite part is when she rubs both sides of my face at once, using both hands, and hug me close. I close my eyes because it feels so good. I prefer this to being held, which I only tolerate for a little while. Meowmie knows what I like. This always starts my day off right. And then we do it again before she goes to sleep. Of course, she's waking up in the morning when I'm ready for a day of sleeping, and she goes to sleep when I'm ready to play, but it works out okay. We both like to start and end our days with hugs.
Hug a Cat Day - By BeBeast (who sure has a funny hug luff:) Merraows I luff to be hugged....not:) I am a purry luffing cat but I don't like to be held. I will hug anyone who has just gotten out of the shower cuz I luff to help dry with my rough tounge. I have noticed that some of da hoomans,daddy, has to be held down purr dis. Meowmie lets me as long as I dont help her clean her face by biting on it. I luff it when meowmie scratches da top of meows head. Dis is my fafurite hug! I purr and purr and chew on her fingers to show meows pleasure. My fafurite time fur a hug is right after a hooman gets out of da shower...yes I like meows hoomans wet and clean:) The next best time purr a hug is when dey are busy trying to do something else. If dey are cooking and have messy hands dis iz a good time to demand hugs. If dey are on da catputer dis is anofur good time. Sleeping hoomans are purry fun to wake up for hugs also. Meows meowmie also gots us pounce for hug your cat day. Dis was one of da greatest 'hugs' dat we all got.

Buddha Gill's Meowmie's Day Gift!
Buddee writes of his favorite hugs too! I love ALL hugs but when pressed to speak of just one Special Hug, my favorite that I just adore is the time when Meowmie finally sits down to watch T.V., read or listen to music, she calls it her relaxation time and when she is comfortable settled I jump on her lap and she tickles me behind the ears, under the chin and oh its pure bliss! I also know that as much as possible she will stay put for a while:). I may have to wait until late at night, or even the wee small hours for this special time together but the total bliss when THAT moment finally arrives is well worth the sometimes very long wait! Snow Ling has written about what she would like to Hunt for Meowmie's Day! I was just thinking, the thing I would like to hunt most on Mother's Day is eggs. Mew, well, mew might think I am a bit behind the times, 'cause Easter was last month. But I don't mean Easter eggs, just plain ol' chicken eggs from the hen house. I want to hunt fur nice fresh eggs, so I can cook them into an omelette and serve mewmie breakfast in bed. I bet she would like that a lot. Hmmm. I may eat some of those chickens while I am at it too. heeh heeh. :0) Now, I would like THAT a lot. Mew hee hee hee. And all about her favorite hugs too! As fur hugs, well My favfurite kind of hug is the early morning snuggle in bed kind of hug. I am not much of a lap cat, and I spend most of my day outside playing and hunting and napping, so I don't get to spend as much time with mewmie as some of the ofur cats. But my special time is bed time, 'cause I always sleep right by my mewmie's head. NOT in BabyCat's spot, mind mew, but in my own spot. I lay right by mewmie and snuggle close, and after she goes to sleep, I turn around so my butt is in her face. Hee heeh. I am such a baaaaad kitty. But she always still gives me a big snuggly hug when she furst wakes up in the morning. Then I hop down as quick as anything, ready fur a new day of hunting. Purries, Snow Ling
Summertime, by Tigger The first is on what she would like to give Uncle Sam: What I would most like to hunt and give to Uncle Sam is da tax refund notice. I would shred it into tiny bits fur him. I may send a mousie fur him too. I has noticed dat da hoomans do not like mousies. Meowmie sez dat I should nicer but I wanted her to buy me new toys wiff da refund dat she iz not going to get. The second essay is on what it means to be an independent cat: I iz a furry independant cat! I make da hoomans pet me when I wants da pets. If she wants to pet meow and I do not I stalk off swishing my furry long tail. I iz not as independent as I used to be. Now I haz two baby kittens to teach the fine art of indignance to. Dey takes up a good part of meows time. When I am done teaching dem dey too will know how to get what dey want when dey want it, juss like me!  Smokey Girl in her Pilgram outfit for Thanksgiving.
