Kali - Man, I really love how this style of coloring looks, but it's so tedious to do. Kali's Full Demon Form (from Book 3 or 4 on, I haven't decided.) Prismacolor pencil.
Kali and Justin - Another sketch I did at work. Kali (human form, approx.) and Justin. Pencil.
Kaine (sketch) - A sketch of Kaine "in uniform" that I plan to turn into a painting. Pencil.
Kaine (final) - The finished painting of the above sketch. Paint (with CG filtering to lighten.)
Kali and Justin - I did this awhile ago, and have since tweaked their designs a bit. I tried to make Kali look like she's phasing through the shadowed wall. Pencil.
Kali, half-demon form - Did this last month, trying a different style. Just lines and cast shadows. Pencil.
Kali, half-demon - Just a page from my sketchbook. If anyone can guess the characters I "borrowed" these poses from, you get, uh... points I guess. And a feeling of satisfaction? Pencil.
Kali, full-demon - Kali in full-demon -I'm gonna kill EVERYBODY- mode. This image is actually a lot bigger, but I made the waist way too long, so I cut it off before that. I didn't even shade anything else. Pencil.
Demon Kali - Don't know when in the story this is, or if it's even in there, but this is Kali, having been splashed with "Holy Water" (a mixture of water, sea salt, and sacred herbs in a vial etched with a blessing.) Those burns don't go away without a special ointment. Pencil/paint.
Kali stalking Another Kali-Full-Demon mode. Yeah, I know the table's crooked. Done in ink.
Kali, full-demon - Kali's "full" demon form. I feel like I'm giving away some plot showing you guys this, but it's not like I'm telling you how she gets this way. Inked.
Kali, casual - More evidence that I should never pick up a marker again. Had to tweak the brightness on the comp for this one, though. Marker.
Kali, in blue - Just a sketch I decided to color. I was going to try a dark shading technique after this step, but decided not to. Crayola pencil.
Kali and Red Halloween - Kali's gonna take Red out for Halloween. Dragonriders of Pern reference. Crayola Pencil.

Succubus Kali - Might be a bit suggestive, but I wondered what Kali would look like as a different type of demon. Prismacolor Pencil
Goth Kali - Kali, gothed up for Halloween. Other demons would think she looks silly. Pencil
Lilith - Lilith, one of the most infamous demons know to human kind. She's the founder of Kali's Blood and runs things from the shadows. Pencil.
Werewolf Caleb - Caleb, in his werewolf form. He looks nice and lean, and very tall. Pencil

NEW! Book Two ending alt. - WARNING: Blood, gore, and violence! This sketch, which eventually turned into this finished picture, inspired the ending of Book Two. I had planned to use this pose, all violence included, but wimped out at the last second and toned it down. Pencil
