My selection of links on programming, mathematics and statistics

Here you'll find various links which I use extensively in my work or just like to visit occasionally. I try to organize them in some way and give minimum comments. No promotion or referrals.

 
 

Programming

  • SourceForge - The extensive forum of open source software. Many thousands of projects in their current development and CVS. Mostly for UNIX, some for Windows.
  • CodeGuru - In my view, the best collection for MFC development et. al. Valuable code snippets and reviews.
  • Yahoo! C++ Class Libraries - Compact and very nice collection of links to many interesting resources.
  • Code Project - Lots of free source code and tutorials on almost every aspect of Windows programming and scripting.
  • FreeCode - Source code online written in C/C++, Java, Perl, or Visual Basic.
  • Programmers Vault - Code sources and useful resources on almost every aspect of programming.
  • R2M - Rich collection of links to the resources for windows developers.
  • KarLand International - Many resources and source code. Some outdated.

Internet

  • W3C - The primary resource of technology news and updates from the World Wide Web consortium. Free source code software.
  • Mozilla - Netscape famous browser and related technologies in full source.
  • iMatix Corporation - Xitami web server and a number of excellent open source apps and libraries for web development.
  • AOLserver - America Online's own web server is the backbone of the largest and busiest production environments in the world.
  • GIST - Generic Information Server Toolkit for the rapid development of interactive web based information servers.
  • ht://Dig - A complete world wide web indexing and searching system for a domain or intranet.
  • HTML Reference - Download complete HTML manual by Web Design Group.
  • PHP - Hypertext Preprocessor. The renown server-side scripting engine free download.
  • Wsmake - Website Pre-processor. Over ten step procedures of custom web content formatting.
  • IaLib - C++ framework for building Web Clients.
  • FastCGI - Language independent open extension to CGI that provides high performance without the limitations of server specific APIs.
  • GNU Cgicc - A C++ class library for writing CGI applications.
  • CGI Collection - Good collection of links on CGI programming.
  • 3Dstats - Analyzes logfiles of web servers and generates three-dimensional VRML models of the server's load by month, by day and by hour.
  • Analog - Shows you the usage patterns on your web server.
  • ACME Software - A number of open source components and snippets for the web (UNIX).

Mathematics

  • NIVC Algorithms library Moscow State University numeric algorithms library. Rich collection covering almost all branches of modern mathematics. FORTRAN sources
  • Matiss large library of numeric methods developed at the Institute of Applied Mathematics (Moscow).
  • Electronic statistics textbook online articles covering the most areas of modern statistics by developers of STATISTICA.
  • MathTools the rich catalogue of algorithms and resources on numerical analysis and scientific computing from MATLAB community.
