Summary: Michael and the other's realize something weird is happening to them. (ie:Michael/Maria, Max/Liz, & Isabel/Alex)

Part 7

Continuum from 4-6

*Maria wakes up with Jennifer in her arms and her in Michael's arms.*

"Michael?" Maria whispers. "I'm here." He replied in the same low voice that she had given him. "You still have to pack your things." She said.

Michael : "I have everything I need in my arms" he said with his famous crooked smile at her.
Maria : "No really you should go pack and meet us at the Crashdown, okay?"
Michael : "Okay." Then he kissed her on the cheek and stood up gently trying not to awaken Jennifer, which he failed at.
Jennifer : "Where are you goin' Michael?" She said in a light voice which would make you want to cry.
Michael : "I'm going home to pack some of my things."
Jennifer : "Can we go with you? Please." Jennifer pleaded with him.
Michael : "It's not safe, Hank might do something we'll all regret and you have to go with Maria to the Crashdown to wait for the other's."
Michael said wanting them to go with him but knowing Hank would roll over and die if he brought a little girl and a young women into their run down trailer.
Jennifer : "Okay, but come back as soon as you can."
Michael : "Promise."

Michael walked out the door and Maria took Jennifer's little hand and brought her into her room. She looked in her closet remembering that she still had a couple dresses from when she was around Jennifer's age. Maria pulled out three dresses a pink frilly one, a long sleeved red one and a long silver one with ruffled edges. Jennifer choose the silver one the same one Maria liked the best. She put it on her and then dressed herself into a pair of black jeans and a no sleeved metallic shirt with the picture of a UFO and black writing which read 'The Truth Is Out There' on, just to see everyone's reaction.

Maria and Jennifer got to the Crashdown at about 11:30am. Alex and Liz were already there. When Maria walked in Alex gave her a look of surprise looking at her shirt. She looked down at him. "Is that actually necessary Maria?" Alex said with a frown that let her know he wasn't very amused with what she was wearing. Maria looked down at her shirt then lifted her head up and said with Michael's crooked smile "It's all I had clean. It was either this or the tank top you could see through." *That was sorta true but not completely she also had a shirt with two teddy bears on it but she wasn't in the mood for teddy bears. "Whatever!" Alex said with a sharp pain in his voice. As he said that the little bell on the front door rang and Alex and Liz didn't even lift up their heads to see who it was, but Maria and Jennifer jerked their heads around as if being brought from a long train of thought. Max and Isabel came walking in and Isabel just like Alex made some smart remark about her T-shirt, but this time she ignored the remark that flew from Isabel's mouth as she walked over and sat by Alex. Max didn't even look at her he just went and sat next to Liz who had said nothing all mourning.

Maria looked at all of them then said "Okay, you guys are really acting weird and frightening me. Liz you and Max aren't even looking at me and Isabel and Alex I've never heard you two so angry. What the hell is your problem?" When she finished her last sentence Michael walked up behind her and Jennifer who was holding on to Maria's hand like something horrible was going down. Michael whispered "So what's up with them they don't look like themselves?" Maria swung around bringing Jennifer flying around with her. "Michael!" She gasped as she turned around. Everyone turned and looked at him with glares on their faces.

Max lifted his eyes up and said "We have to talk." "About what?" Michael said starting to get really weirded out. Liz lifted her head and said "About the dream all of us had last night." "What dream?" Maria said with a look of surprise. Isabel turned and said "You didn't have the dream last night?"

Maria : "No." she said with worry in her voice.
Michael shook his head no.
Jennifer looked up at Maria and Michael and didn't remember having any dreams last night. Everyone turned to her as they saw her shaking her head no also.
Max : "We have a problem then."
Michael : "What kinda problem?"
Alex : "We had some weird dream we were all standing there looking at each other and we didn't see you three anywhere, but there were four people standing in front of each....
Isabel : "of us and they were shining in different metallic colors, there was blue, green,....
Liz : "purple and red, but something was missing I guess the feeling was that you....
Max : "three weren't there, but then all of a sudden there were four rocks laying on the ground they were gold....
Alex : "silver, pink, and orange, they were shining brightly but then we looked down at our hands who had all of a sudden had....
Isabel : "their own rocks in them, we each had a different color like the colors of the figures standing before us."

Michael turned to Maria and Jennifer and said "Okay, is the fact that they're finishing each....
Maria : "others sentences freaking you out?" She said without even thinking.
Michael, Maria and Jennifer : "Oh my God!"
Maria shook her head and looked as if she was going to flop over any second.

Max : "Sorry, but after we all had that dream we called each other and since than....
Liz : "we've been finishing each other's sentences."
Isabel : "Wait a minute! Michael did you sleep at Maria's house last night?"
Michael : "What's it to you?"
Alex : "Just answer the question!"
Maria : "Yeah, he slept in the living room with me and Jennifer on the couch."
Liz : "That would explain why the rocks were in a circle on the floor."
Max : "Yeah and why they weren't there."
Michael : "Would someone like to clue the three that weren't there in on all of your little connection."
Isabel : "We all felt like we needed each other but weren't together and....
Alex : "you three were."
Jennifer : "Maria Michael, what are they talking about?"
Maria bent down on one nee "I wish I knew sweetheart"
Liz : "Maria! Why was Michael at your house in the first place wasn't....
Isabel : "your mom there?"
Maria stood up with Jennifer in her arms and turned and started crying into Michael's arm.
Michael : "Her mom wasn't there and won't be there anytime soon."
Max : "What? Where did....
Alex : "she go?"
Jennifer turned her head around from Maria's back and said "She left with a man named Tom yesterday and ran off to start a new life with him."

Liz : "I'm so sorry Maria."
Maria : "No need to be I think it's for the best."
Max : "Come you guys time to start being....
Isabel : "happy we leave tonight and....
Max : " we need to make the best of it."

Jennifer : " Maria my stomach hurts."
Maria : "That because your hungry sweetie."
Liz : "Maria, come help me whip up some fries and burgers."
Maria : "Right!"

Michael picks up a bottle of Tabasco sauce and pours a little on Jennifer's fries. "Go ahead try one like that they might taste a little better. Jennifer popped one into her mouth and smiled "Your right it tastes a little better." Jennifer turns and sees Maria next to her just sitting there looking at the air "Maria. Maria!" she said. Maria jerked her head as she was pulled from her day dream. "Maria do you want one." "No thanks I'm not that hungry and besides they have Tabasco sauce on them."

Maria : "Liz can I have one of yours?"
Liz : "You may not want one they have Tabasco sauce on them too."
Maria looked around at everyone's food and they all had Tabasco sauce on them.
Maria : "Okay, the part where you four finished each others sentences I let it pass and sharing each other's thoughts and dreams I rolled it off my back, but now your all eating food covered in Tabasco sauce and your really, really starting to freak me out. God! What is wrong with you Liz, Alex you never act this strange and I don't think you guys should start now just over a damn dream and because the only people/aliens whatever other then our family that we love are leaving!" Maria managed to whine the last sentence out and jumped to her feet and ran to the back. *What the hell I never act like that something strange is going on and I want to know what the hell it is.*

Liz : "Guys I think she's right I think we all have been acting out....
Max : "of character."

Michael stood up and picked up Jennifer looked at everyone sitting at the booths and said "You guys are scaring the shit out of me, I'm going in the back Jennifer Maria and until you guys get your damn dream straight I think you should stay away from us because I'm getting some weird ass vibes off you!" *What the hell vibes that's real like you Michael. What the hell are you talking about.*

Isabel : "Michael are you okay?"
Michael : "Hell no!" He stammered out and ran straight to the back where Maria was.

Maria turned her head "Michael I think it's getting late it's already 6:00pm and you guys have to be there soon." Michael looked up at her "Yeah I think your right we should go get the other guys."

Max : "No need we're ready."
Maria : "Shit, you scared the hell out of me! What is it with aliens and scaring the shit out of me?"
Michael leaned in toward her ear and whispered "Because it's so much damn fun."
Maria : "Ha ha ha, come on I'll drive Jennifer and Michael in my car and Liz and Alex can go with their *friends* in their jeep." She said with Michael's famous grin again.

"Good idea" Isabel stammered out "Plus I'm sure you and your *buddy* there wouldn't mind getting close to each other." Everyone started laughing and Maria blushed from ear to ear and managed to say in an embarrassed tone "Whatever!"

They all hopped into the right cars and began to drive to their destination.
