The Journey Begins

Kane, Jaydos and Boofa got together last Friday night to begin nutting out the nitty gritties of the first episode of the new But Seriously Folks series. If this first writing session is anything to go by, then the new series will be a fast-paced, brutalisation of the postmodern ideals of sketch comedy. Get thyself to a television soon, this series is going to be special. In other housekeeping news, Kane Raven is in the final stages of securing clothing sponsorship from NAFF clothing. This on top of the equipment being lent by RMITV will continue to improve the look of the show.

The Alex Marriot Saga

Rumours have surfaced about the demise of Alex Marriott. Truth be told Alex was up in Sydney searching for a new agent, he is now back in Melbourne and is committed to helping the BSF cause. Understandably, if a serious role comes up for him, he will take it and the BSF team wish him the best of luck.

Fraser vs Boofa

Everyones favourite Mulleteer went under the scissor today and the much loved mullet as seen on season on of Boofa's World of Sports has now disappeared into the night carrying with it nothing but the hopes of a new dawn. Boofa, however, is in good spirits after the removal of the hairpiece but has complained about cold headness. Photos appearing soon at Boofa's Bin (found in link section).

Kane Raven vs Grant Lovechild

Kane Raven was given the hosting job on Pluck Up Late between the hours of 2am and 4am. Unfortunately his initial show plan was rejected and he was forced to work with very little material. The highlight of the two hours was the battle for supremecy between Kane Raven and Kane Raven wannabe Grant (g)Lovechild. Kane ate him alive on air (not literally) and Grant was resigned to fact that he isn't the greatest thing on Channel 31 as he once thought! (not that Kane believes he is... Website Launch

Jaydos and Kane began the writing process for the new series yesterday and things are looking extremely promising for a highly amusing second innings.  The Radio version of BSF will be starting again this Friday so stay tuned for that.  Also coming soon, The Best of But Seriously Folks on DVD will be being released in the coming months and will be available on this site.  More details on that later.

Completion of the new-look BSF website. 

UPDATE: Alex Marriott is currently working on and presenting Wednesday Pluck Season 3 on Channel 31 at 5:30pm, Kane Raven will be assisting behind the scenes in some capacity.  The But Seriously Folks crew  will be returning to SubFM as of Friday the 30th of July. 6-8pm.  Join Kane, Jaydos, Boofa and the crew as they return back to their comfort zone on local unpopular student radio.  Work on the next TV Series of BSF will begin soon, and the show should be returning in early November.
