Kevin sat on the bed and let out a breath. “Damn,” he said, “What a hottie.  I certainly intend to see her again. Even if I do have to pop these stitches.” Just then, AJ and Howie and Nick and Brian walked in. Brian ran to Kevin’s bed.  “Kev, you’re alright man.  I prayed you would be.”  Kev laughed as he put his shirt on that the nurse had just brought in.  He winced as he pulled it down.  “Man Train. Those look like they hurt,” Nick said interested.  Kevin pulled up his shirt again and showed all the guys his stitches. “Nice, huh?  I hope Fatima doesn’t require no shirt choreography, because I ain’t taking this shirt off for awhile. The girls might think I’m Frankenstein or something.”  All the guys laughed.  They knew Kevin was back and good as ever.  Kevin finished dressing while the rest of the guys were in the corner whispering. “All right guys.  What’s all the whispering about?”  All the guys turned around at once.  “Your doctor’s a hottie!!!”  Kevin laughed out loud, “You’re damn right.  She’s beautiful though, I mean it.  And guess what Brian? She’s from Lexington and we didn’t even know her!!?”  Brian’s jaw dropped, “No way man.  I recognized her accent, but I didn’t quite know.  Did you hook a date with her?”  Kevin shook his head, “Nah.  She’s just a real cute woman.  Let’s just leave it at that.  I don’t have time.”  AJ laughed, “Well, then can I have her?”  All the guys smiled. Brian knew Kevin was trying to play of how much he liked the doctor.  Kevin put his jacket carefully on so that he wouldn’t pop his stitches.  The guys left Kevin’s room and walked into the main lobby.  As they were walking out the door, Kevin heard a voice calling him.  It was a man.  Kevin looked at the rest of the guys, “You guys go wipe all the snow off the car and get it started.  I’ll see what this guy wants.”  Brian said, “All right man.  Make it quick though. You’ve got rehearsals for that Versace show.”

Kevin turned and walked off.  The man who called him approached him.  “I don’t know who the hell you think you are, but you better not lay a hand on Dr. Riley.  If you do, you’ll regret it.”  The guy turned abruptly back into one of the trauma rooms.  Kevin stood there astonished.  He couldn’t believe what had just happened. “God, uptight.  I didn’t even touch her.”  Just then Kelly came running by.  She stopped when she saw Kevin standing in the middle of the hall.  “Haven’t you gone yet?  I checked you out 15 minutes ago.”  Kevin smiled at the sound of her voice.  “A guy just came out and screamed in my face.  He was all like, don’t mess with Dr. Riley.  And then he walked into one of those trauma rooms.  Sorry to bother you.  I gotta get to rehearsals.  Thanks again.”  He smiled and turned and ran out of the door.  Kelly watched him leave. “That’s odd.  I wonder who would have said that.  I don’t know that many people around this hospital.  Maybe I have a secret admirerer. Nah.  Well, what a nice way to see such a beautiful man leaving.  Running away from me.  They all do that, or I do that to all of them.”  Kelly smiled, but that smile faded when Austin came out of the trauma room that Kevin had just pointed to. Austin saw her face and asked, “What?  Why are you looking at me strange?”  He shrugged and walked off when she just turned and walked off.

Back at the BSB’s hotel rooms, same day around 8:00…

“Man what a day. One thing after another, huh.  I can’t believe that we drove around this whole damn town and couldn’t find you’re rehearsal place.  Sorry Kev,” AJ said from across the room. “That’s okay. When I called into the director, Donatella, she had cancelled the rehearsal because of the snow.”  All the boys were hanging out in Kevin’s hotel room.  Everyone was beat from the day’s activities.  The guys had checked in with their management and they had the night off.  They ate at Studio 54 and decided to come back to the apartment.  They were all tired, but bored.  Nick spoke up over the sounds of his Nintendo. “What are we doing tonight?  We’re only in New York for a couple of more days and I want to party.”  Brian looked over from his book.  He laid it down. “Yeah, what do you guys want to do?”  AJ and Howie were playing chess over in the corner.  AJ said, “I know we’re all beat, but I have a great idea.  Studio 54 was great tonight.  Their night club doesn’t open until 11:30.  Let’s get some rest and then when we get up we can get ready and go dancing.  What do ya’ think?  If everyone meets back here in Kev’s room around 11:00 we could get there just as it opens. You feel up to Kevin, don’t you?” “Yeah, I’ll be fine.”  Everybody was quiet and looked around. “Great,” they all answered.  Everybody jumped up and went to their own rooms.  Kevin quietly shut the door when all the guys had left and walked into his bedroom area.  He took his shirt off and crashed on the bed.  He put one head behind his head, and one ran across his hard stomach.  He stopped when he came across the stitches.  He thought back on the beautiful women who had stitched him up. “Hmmmm, Dr. Kelly Riley.  I can’t believe that she lived in my city and I never knew her.  I’ll have to ask Ma about her.  Maybe she knows her family.  She was so perfect.”  He thought of her slim hands as they stitched his stomach carefully. He loved her gray eyes and her petite body.  “I wish I could see her again.  Not in the hospital though.  Not with that guy in my face.  What was his problem?  Maybe somehow we’ll see each again.”  He smiled and rolled over and turned the alarm on. “I don’t want to sleep through tonight.  We’re gonna have a blast.”  He turned out the lights and closed his eyes for a short nap.
