Winsom Memory had a foal (Winsom Valentine) several months before we bought her in 1995. We had her green-broke in the fall of 1996. She did very well in her first amateur show (June 1997), winning all 6 of her walk/trot classes.
Winsom had her second foal on 8 June 1998 at 3:20 AM. The sire is
Post Exchange, an Anglo-Arabian. She had another filly,
Winsom Ayesha, who was very petite but has very long, graceful legs.
Like her dad, she has 4 white socks. Her blaze was huge and looked like
South America. We thought she was going to be a chestnut, but as the baby
fuzz shed out she turned bay. Her blaze now looks more like Chile.
Winsom was sold 3 weeks after Ayesha was weaned. She is now owned by a couple of young Pony Clubbers who ride her and take her to shows. Ayesha was sold a couple of weeks later. They both stayed at the same farm for a while, then Ayesha was moved to her new home.
We leased Tish out, and in July 1999 she had a bay colt by the black stallion Shah of Gizeh. We nicknamed the baby Little John, while his breeder called him Smoothie because he is so nice. His new owner registered him as Shah Conquistador (Shac). He is unusual because he does not have a single white hair on him.
