I love this time of year. When everythings all melty. Makes me feel a little sad for the snowmen Lauren and I made however. Our snowdog looks more like a very sickly duck. And the snowpeople, well lets just say what people =) But it gives me hope that spring is just around the corner. I like that there's more sunlight and that it actually has some warmth to it. Our snowpeople will just have to wait until next fall. Because I LOVE that I can go outside without wearing a big ol' winter coat. Or any coat at all for that matter. =) Makes me all excited for summer. Who cares if my cars are in a constant need of a bath. I can live with that for a little while. As soon as the streets all dry up I'm gonna have Shawn shine them all up, and make them pretty. He's such a good guy =). Till then, at least I can now put the sun roofs up.....hee-hee.
Speaking of cars, I finally, finally, FINALLY got my personalized plates in for my Saturn. I can't beleive it took SOOOOO long.....eeeesh. I put my order in for them last May. Only took, almost a year now. (Hello DMV people) Good thing I'm a patient girl, could have gotten ugly =) Mainly because when I ordered them, I was told it would take about 3 months. I figured it would take a little longer (not a flippin' year) because Shawn's did. So anyways I waited, and waited, not holding my breath or anything.......lol. Around the end of Sept. we called up DMV to check the status of my plates. It's a good thing we did, for they hadn't even started them yet. They said there was some sort of mix up on the style I wanted. And that they had tried to get a hold of me in June (whatever) supposedly sending me a letter. <Brin rolls her eyes> Basically I ended up having to re-order them. La la la la la, six months go by, and nothing. So I called them again a couple of weeks ago. What a coincident, that shipment had just gotten in that day (I wonder if they say that to all their customers =) and that they would be shipping them out within the week. To my surprise that actually panned out, got them yesturday. Shawn put them on the car last night Woo-Hoo =) Looks pretty good, (of course to come full circle.....lol)  it would look even better if my car had a bath and a polish. Maybe I'll go run it through one of the car wash in town. Just to tide me over. So when I'm out driven the strip I'll be stylin'.......yea right........lol ;)
