About Bibi

Bibi Kay Poh was trained in Singapore International Theme Parks, together with some of the best names in South East Asian comedy entertainers like Gurmit Singh, Koh Cheng Mun, Joanne Kam Poh Poh and Kumar. In her days with the Theme Park she was trained in both modern and classical dances, Pop vocals, Martial Arts, Stilt Walking and even up to drumming and Lion Dancing

After leaving Singapore, she has worked as the anchor Host Comedienne in the Kuala Lumpur Boom-Boom Room following the departure of Joanne Kam Poh Poh who at that time; decided to move on to other projects. Bibi subsequently has entertained audiences all over Malaysia and the South East Asian region like Indonesia, Hong Kong, Borneo, Thailand, Brunei and Singapore, performing at product launches, clubs, weddings and has emceed for a few Miss Malaysia State Final pageants. As an accompaniment to her comedy talk shows, she also sings in both Male and Female vocals and has been trained in classical singing..

Bibi is fascinated with languages and will take any opportunity to learn a line or two in virtually any pronouncable "lingua". In general, she is able to speak, read and write 4 languages fluently and basics of several other languages. She is also able to converse in 3 dialects of Chinese. But as most of her audience knows, she has a particular FLAIR just like everyone else when it comes to learning "naughty little sentences that tickle the mind

Bibi is an avid reader who reads books that range from Sidney Sheldon to New Age info on Auras and Tarot cards to the Buddhist Sutras. She loves "chick flick" movies, and rarely watches movies that have a morbid tragic ending... the reason being she says; " There is more than enough tears in the world, why would I want to add more to mine?"
