Shannon and her sister Alicia were devoted to each other and spent much of their time together in the sun room. While Alicia did quite well in the show ring, Shannon never seemed to have enough coat at the right time to finish her championship. Regardless of her lack of titles, Shannon was a much loved part of the Azalea Hill family. She was particularly fond of watching TV with Richmond. She died quite unexpectedly near the end of 2003.
