Love is a very special young lady. A singleton, she was lovingly hand-raised by Bobbie. She is sable with a large white collar and beautiful small eyes. We had hoped that Love would represent our next generation of multi-purpose collies and so far she is fulfilling our expectations. Love is showing occasionally and recently completed her HT title. She is in training for PT currently, and is already beginning to work on the HS course.

Lovebug's parents were too special to allow them to pass on without leaving offspring. Her sire, Aladar is a very special dog with a championship title, an obedience title, an agility title, a herding title and a Collie Club of America Versatility Award. On his sire's side his grandfather is Ch Azalea Hill’s Magnum Force - ranked no 2 in the nation for the years 1989 & 1990. His grandmother was Ch Azalea Hills Canebrake Cameo, even though a female, was ranked no 1 Collie in the U.S. for 1986. On his dam’s side, he descends from Ch City View’s Advantage and Ch Starr’s Blue Jeans- both Collies that won the Collie Club of America national champion show.

Her dam, Love Letters is sired by Ch Fantasy’s Bronze Talisman (the leading Collie sire) and is litter sister to Ch Azalea Hill’s Bradford.

Love is currently being shown on a limited basis, but her first love is herding! She completed her PT in October 2004 and we hope to some day get her in started. She also completed her CD in three straight shows in July 2005. Love will begin agility training next.
