Is it just me, or does the animated character on the left bear a slight resemblance to Alexei Urmanov? If you're not so sure, then check out the side-by-side comparison:
The cartoon character seen above is Mikado Sanzenin, from the popular Japanese cartoon, "Ranma 1/2". Like Alexei Urmanov, Mikado is tall, has dark brown hair and blue eyes, plus, he too is a skater (albeit a cartoon one). Interestingly enough, although Mikado is a martial arts skater (too long to explain), he is graceful, like Alexei; why, Mikado's special martial arts technique is the balletic "Dance of Death"!
The only way that Mikado doesn't resemble Alexei is in personality; Mikado is arrogant, egotistical, and a ladykiller to boot (I just can't see Alexei that way, can you?). Still, the physical resemblance is there... Could it just be a coincidence...?
And here's another Alexei U. lookalike candidate...
Above is pictured Tuxedo Mask, from the popular cartoon series, "Sailor Moon". Again, he looks similar to Alexei U. (tall, dark hair, blue eyes). Plus, his tux is reminscent of Alexei's "Princess of the Circus" outfit. (Interestingly enough, the character Alexei protrays in POC is supposed to be wearing a mask...) Come to think of it, Tuxedo Mask skates too! Hee hee!

More along the same line... Pasha & Platov? - An image that reminds me of this dance couple's "You'll See" program.
